About

I am a Visiting Lecturer at the Institute of Government and Politics, University of Tartu where I teach an MA course on Democracy Promotion. Ireceived PhD in International Studies from the University of Trento, Italy (2012) and MA in Political Science from the Central
European University, Hungary (2005). I am also the founding co-Editor of the Interdisciplinary Political Studies journal. My main research interests lie in democracy promotion/democratization, EU and US foreign policies, EU-Russian relations, and politics of the South Caucasus.
In 2005-2008 I was Training Department Manager for Core Media Support
Program for Armenia implemented by IREX and funded by USAID. In 2010 I
was visiting researcher at the Center for International and Comparative
Studies, ETH Zurich and think-tank FRIDE, Madrid.
